Susan Ruth Severance, 63, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at her home.
Born on February 18, 1957, in Long Island, she was the daughter of the late Bertrand and Ruth (Morrell) Severance.
Susan graduated from Hartford High School. In her childhood years she was a member of the Adamsville Baptist Church.
She enjoyed going on vacations, watching movies with Johnny Depp in them, elephants and taking care of the stray cats around her home. Susan loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her beloved dog, Daisy.
Left to cherish her memory include her son, Justin Durkee and his wife, Jammie; her grandchildren, Jacob Donald Durkee, Olivia Grace Anderson; her siblings, Nancy Allen and her husband, Steven, Leland “Lee” Severance and his wife, Connie, Gerald Severance, Cindy Francett and her husband, Colin, Karen Severance; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the current health crisis, services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
