Sue was recently one of the benefactors of the South Glens Falls Marathon Dance.

In addition to her parents, Sue is survived by her two daughters, Shelby Gardner of Glens Falls and Sydney Gardner of South Glens Falls; her brother, Patrick Sullivan and his wife, Joann, of South Glens Falls; her devoted companion of many years, Lee Petteys and his two daughters, Caitlyn and Ellen Petteys, of Gansevoort; a niece, Lindsay Sullivan and a nephew, Matthew Sullivan, both of South Glens Falls; and her close special friends, Bev Bradley and Colleen Houghham.

Friends may call on the family Monday, March 8, 2010 between 4 and 8 p.m. at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803. Online condolences may be posted at kilmerfuneralhome.com.

Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Glens Falls.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the individuals that organized and coordinated the recent benefit fund for Sue, and especially to Bob Lloyd for his efforts to make the event a huge success. The family wishes to thank everyone that attended and contributed to the fundraiser. A special thank you also goes to Kim, Vicky and Karen, as well as all of the other caregivers and staff at the Glens Falls Hospital for their compassion and caring during Sue’s struggle with cancer.
