Theresa M. Meyers, 84, formerly of South Glens Falls, recently of Meriden, Ct. passed away on Sunday Sept. 16, 2012 at The Curtis Home in Meriden, Conn.

Born May 5, 1928 in Hudson, New York she was the daughter of the late Denis J. and Mabel (Hanner) Mullins.

Theresa is predeceased by her husband of 45 years Leo J. Meyers who passed away on Nov 30, 1995.

We celebrate her life as our strong resilient Irish Matriarch. She navigated the “Dwindles” with pluck and humor. Was loved by her family and friends and has left us all with the enduring gift of our memories of sharing a life well lived.

Theresa was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Besides her parents and husband, Theresa is predeceased by her five brothers; Denis, William, Patrick, Neil and Paul Mullins and one sister, Catherine Woodman.

She is survived by her three children, daughters Patricia Beers and husband Donald of Glens Falls, NY. Theresa McCabe and husband Philip of Orange, CT., Son Thomas L. Meyers Sr. and wife Debora of Maryland; Six grandchildren; Colleen LaRose and husband Myron of Granville, NY, Sean Beers and Kim Shea of Clifton Park, NY, Thomas Meyers Jr. and wife Kim of Nebraska, Lora Meyers of Nebraska, Shea McCabe of NYC, Reid McCabe of Orange, CT. Six great grandchildren; Luke and Grant LaRose, Abigail and Kayleigh Beers and Zachary Engle and Jayce Kline; Brother Alfred Mullins and wife Jerry of Johnstown, NY; Brother-in-law Garry Meyers and wife Jane of Feeding Hills, MA as well as many nieces nephews and friends.

Friends and family may call Thursday September 20, 2012 from 4-6 pm at the M.B Kilmer Funeral Home located at 136 Main Street So. Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 21, 2012 at 9:30 am at the St. Michael’s Church at 80 Saratoga Avenue with Rev. Guy Anthony Childs, Pastor, officiating.

Rite of Committal will follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
