Obituary for Therese "Teri" Lenz

Therese “Teri” Lenz, 61, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family and pets.
Born on February 25, 1958, in Niskayuna, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Henrietta (Snyder) Lenz.
Teri graduated from Burnt Hills High School and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree at SUNY Plattsburgh. She earned her master’s degree in education at SUNY Albany. Following her graduation, she worked at Queensbury School District and most recently worked at South Glens Falls School District teaching AIS from 1994 till her retirement in 2016.
She is a lifelong communicant of St. Michael’s Church in South Glens Falls.
Teri enjoyed painting, writing to many friends, bird watching, watching Hallmark movies and visiting her family in Cape Cod. She especially loved watching her grandson. Teri had a love for reading which encouraged her to open a lending library at the Fort Edward Farmers Market. The library is open during the summer for anyone that enjoys reading.
In addition to her parents, Teri was predeceased by her brother, Henry (Hal) Lenz.
Left to cherish her memory include her children, Laura Kay and her husband, Billy and Mark Bulmer and his wife, Kylie; her grandson, Levi Henry Bulmer; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will also leave behind her many loving pets.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9am on Monday, March 4, 2019, at St. Michael’s Church, 80 Saratoga Ave., South Glens Falls, NY 12803 with the Rev. Guy A. Childs, officiating.
The Rite of Committal will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery South Glens Falls.
Memorial donations in Teri’s name can be made to the South Glens Falls Marathon Dance, 6 Bluebird Road, South Glens Falls, NY 12803. She was a recipient of the Marathon Dance in 2011.
