Timothy E. ""Brownie""  Brown
SOUTH GLENS FALLS -
Timothy E. Brown, “Brownie”, formerly of Whitehall, passed away very unexpectedly at his home on Monday morning, February 8, 2010.

Tim was born in Glens Falls on October 24, 1965, the son of the late Lloyd Harold Brown and Jean (Greenwood) Brown. He graduated from Whitehall Central School, Class of 1984, where he was an active participant in several athletic programs, including football, basketball and track.

He was employed at the Saratoga Eagle Sales and Service, Inc. for many years.

On May 18, 1988, Tim married the love of his life, Trish Russo.

Tim was most fond of spending time with his family and being a part of their lives. He enjoyed spending time at the family camp on Glen Lake and participating in water-related sports, and was an exceptional water skier. He also liked hiking, all types of outdoor activities, and was a talented artist.

In addition to his father, Tim was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Stephen J. Brooks.

Survivors include his wife and children, Trish, Eric and Lauren Brown of South Glens Falls; his mother, Jean Brown of Whitehall; his brothers, Thomas Brown and his wife, Christine, of Granville, and Russell Brown and his wife, Sherri, of Whitehall; his sisters, Nancy Brooks-Smith and her husband, Keven, of Whitehall, Judy Benjamin of Whitehall, and Christine Hoagland and her husband, Jason, of Whitehall; his mother and father-in law, Pat and Sally Russo of South Glens Falls; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Russo of North Creek, Diane Bradley and her husband, Scott, of South Glens Falls, and Kelly Russo of South Glens Falls; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as his dog, Bailey.

Friends may call on the family on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803. Online condolences may be posted at kilmerfuneralhome.com.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 9 Wheeler Avenue in Whitehall, with Reverend Michael Flannery, pastor, officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Glens Falls.
