Timothy Philip "Tim"  Bush
South Glens Falls

Tim Bush, 50, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Glens Falls Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Watertown, NY on July 31, 1962, he was the son of Joan (Chapman) Hilpertshauser and the late Harvey Bush Jr.

He grew up in South Glens Falls and graduated from South Glens Falls High School.

On April 6, 1991, Tim married the love of his life Susan M. Prelewicz in the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Cocoa Beach Florida.

Tim worked for the South Glens Falls Central School district for the past 5 years.

He enjoyed fishing, wood working, gardening, and cooking. Tim was the most loving son, husband, father, and brother. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his father, Tim is predeceased by his grandmother Elsie Chapman, dad Ernie Hilpertshauser, and uncle Philip Chapman.

Left to cherish his memories, are his loving wife of 21 years, Susan Bush, two daughters, Rebecca and Lauren Bush, mother, Joan Hilpertshauser, siblings, Liza Bush, Susan Johnson, Ernest “Duff” Hilpertshauser, Glen Hilpertshauser and wife Kathleen, Lynn Hilpertshauser and husband Mark, uncle, Robert Hilpertshauser and wife Pat, aunt, Sue Chapman, mother and father in-law, Barbara and Clarence Tuttle, brother in-law, David Prelewicz, sisters in-law, Nancy Cupertino and husband Dan and Danielle Hilpertshauser, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10am on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Joyce Fiore, pastor of Saint Andrew Lutheran Church, and Rev. Paul Dufford, pastor of Fortsville United Methodist Church, co-officiating.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to thank the Oncology team and nursing staff on tower 2 who were involved in Tim’s care during his battle with cancer.
