Viola M. Clodgo, 95, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on April 28, 1928, in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Baker) Doran.
In 1948, Viola married Robert Clodgo. They were married for 45 years until his passing in 1993.
Viola was an avid flower gardener, knitter, and loved going to South Carolina to visit family. In her younger years, Viola enjoyed going camping with her family in the Adirondack Mountains.
In addition to her parents and husband, Viola was predeceased by her four brothers, James, Robert, Ernie and Clifford Doran, her son-in-law, Edward Beasley.
Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Wanda M. Beasley; her son, Steven Clodgo; her grandchildren, Leon Collier III, Kate Gordon and her husband, Jason; her sister, Elizabeth Vaughn; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Viola’s request there will be no calling hours.
Rite of Committal will be conducted at 10am on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Southside Cemetery in South Glens Falls.
