FORT EDWARD

William (Bill) J. Edwards, 85, passed away June 30, 2013 at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home.

Born July 21, 1927 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late William and Florence (Stewart) Edwards.

Bill worked at the former Pearl’s Departments Store in Glens Falls for many years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Bill loved playing pool, sometimes in leagues, bowling, OTB and scratch-offs. He especially loved his Yankees.

Besides his parents, Bill is predeceased by his wife Mary (Linendol) Edwards, brother Donald Edwards and daughters Donna Conlon and Geralyn Kingsley

Bill is survived by his children Danny Anderson and wife Pat, Charlotte Ferguson and husband Larry, Nelson Anderson, Joseph Anderson and wife Julean; grandchildren Tracy Conlon and wife Mary Ann, Sandra LaRose and husband Michael, Christopher Conlon and partner Crystal, Matthew Conlon and wife Cindy, and Joseph P. Anderson; great-grandchildren Crystal Mattison, Ashley Conlon, Christopher Conlon, Samantha LaRose, Benjamin LaRose, Jacob LaRose, Nikolas Conlon, Joseph and Alizabeth LaRose, Ariana and Matthew Conlon,
William (Bill) Kingsley Jr. and wife Lynn, Andrew Kingsley and wife Michelle, Christy Sue Kingsley GiamBruno, Danny Anderson and wife Donica, Jennifer Anderson, Mary and Chelsea Anderson; Great Grandchildren- Nathaniel and Madison Kingsley, Dustin, Christopher, Mathew and Ethan Kingsley, Nicholas and Cory Davis, Allison GiamBruno.; Great Great grandchildren Steven and Alexis Mattison.

Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
