William M. McEwen, 79, of Shelly Park, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020 at Saratoga Hospital.
Born on October 24, 1940 in Westley, Maine, he was the son of the late William and Christine (Dodge) McEwen.
Bill was an Electrician for General Dynamics with 33 years of service. He enjoyed helping and taking care of others, especially his family, friends and neighbors in Shelly Park. He was a member of the Saratoga-Wilton Elks Lodge #161.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his 2 sisters and a brother.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife Marcella (Perry) McEwen of Gansevoort; his children, Allen McEwen of Buffalo, Cheryl McNeal of Maine, Joel Millard (Kathleen) of Queensbury and Denise Fernald of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Danielle Fernald, Andre & Olivia Millard, Ryan & Christopher Murphy, Kristen & John Loman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Bill’s request there will be no calling hours or services.
