The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Patrick Hayes can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I hadn't seen Pat since he retired but I did consider him a friend. He introduced me to the Irish writers, lent me some of his favorite books, and we had some lively discussions about them. You never knew what was going to come out of that mouth. I miss his smiling face and his sense of humor. R.I.P, Pat. I feel so sad knowing you are no longer with us, but I know you're in the hands of the Lord now! God bless!

Condolence: Patrick, Tis a sad day indeed for the Irish. You had the greatest laugh. Even though we haven't seen each other in years, you laugher will always be in my heart. May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
