The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Washburn can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Bess and I and Ryan, Scott, and Jonathan will all miss John's smile and hospitality in NY and FL. He was always interested in our families's activities and achievements. I will always remember John driving too fast over the big hump on the back road. And Bess & I being newly weds using his convertible chevy to visit all the Liddells. Our prayers go out to the whole family.
