Laurette J. Charlebois, 80, of Smith Street passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2015 at The Pines in Glens Falls surrounded by her family.
Born in Curran, Ontario on June 27, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and FleurAnge (Lemery) Charlebois.
She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy Class of 1956.
Laurette was a communicant of St. Alphonsus and St. Mary’s.
She started working for CR Bard, formally known as USCI, on May 27, 1960 and retired 35 years later on February 23, 1995.
Laurette enjoyed knitting, crocheting, word search puzzles, being at family gatherings and family visits.
She was a member of the Moreau Community Center.
In addition to her parents, Laurette is predeceased by a brother John Charlebois and a sister Marguerite Cleaves.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Bernard Charlebois and his wife Marianne of Glens Falls; her sister, Mary B. Bromley of South Glens Falls; along with her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Laurette’s request, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
A graveside service will be conducted in the spring at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Donations in Laurette’s memory can be made to the Meals on Wheels Program C/O Warren County Office for the Aging 1340 State Route 9 Lake George, NY 12845.
