Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Barbara Swan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with you all ! Your Mom had a very blessed life with the friends and family that were always around her. She was a positive force of nature. She had a great heart and sense of humor and her "endurance" was infectious. Sorry I did not get to see her much later on after leaving our old SGF neighborhood. She and your Dad are partying big time ! :) Love, prayers and blessings to you all !! Mary Beth

Condolence: TO Joan and all the Swans,
My sisters and I were so saddened to hear of the loss of your sister/mother. Your parents were such good people and good friends to our family. We are so thankful we got up to see all of you awhile back. I would like to go to the cemetery in the spring as I could not go today to the church. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Andrea

Condolence: Dear Joan and the Swan family,

I am so sorry about Barbara's passing.

Barbara was a very dear friend of our parents, Richard and Jeanne Philo Gale. Our families spent many happy hours together in South Glens Falls. She and Mom and Joan were very close. She was a lovely and generous lady with a great sense of humor.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: Chris, Kim, Nancy, Karen, Michele ,Dan and Families,
I was very sorry to hear about your mom. She was a special lady. I don't know where to begin to tell you how much she meant to me. I don't know if you guys knew or not but after Karen died and I was upset or just needed someone to talk to your mom was always there for me. Somehow she always knew when to listen and when to talk. Sometimes she just knew I needed a hug. I write this with tears in my eyes. She was like a second mom when I needed one. She was a special lady and I loved her like my own mother. She will always have a special place in my heart!

I wish I could come up for the funeral, I just can't make it, but I'll be there in spirit and you guys are all in my thoughts and prayers always. I believe she's in a better place now with Hubey watching over all of you. Many people were better off for having known her. Try to remember all the good times and the sadness will fade.

LOVE, Ron
