The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emilio Natale can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Uncle Emilio

Uncle Emilio, as my brothers Pete, Tom, Mark and I had always known him, was the storyteller and historian of the Natale family.  He knew all of the family history and whenever we got together, we would love to listen to his stories.  He had loads of stories from his days working at the Glens Falls Hospital too.  Every story was a happy one, told with a gusto and joy of life that was uniquely Uncle Emilio.  We all loved seeing him, and it was not often enough that our families got together.  On my final visit to Uncle Emilio, with my Dad (Benito) we went to Gloversville to see him in the nursing facility there.  As soon as we walked into the room, even though he was confined to a wheelchair, had lost weight, and shrunken in size, he recognized both Dad and I immediately, and the stories began.  Lovely, loving stories, now lost in Heaven, with Uncle Emilio's voice still clear, he regaled us.  He was keeping us entertained even though we had come to visit him.  Aunt Charyl you were a trooper to the end, and it was easy to see that you still loved the man you married after all that had transpired as Uncle Emilio's health deteriorated.  Thank you, Uncle Emilio for the memories!  I shall keep them in my heart until I see you in Heaven myself.

Love, Denise
