I just found out tonight about the passing of my friend Tony. My wife and I went to the Lakehurst, NJ diner, Tony's favorite hangout and Pete the owner told us the news. Tony was a great guy and I enjoyed our times together very much and so many stories!!. After Tony had the car accident and he got out of the hospital, I started to take Tony to the diner for breakfast Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings until he moved to Glen Falls, NY. We set up a farewell breakfast for him at the diner and hsd all of his diner buddies there to send him off. I felt I could talk to Tony about anything and looked to him as a father figure. I will miss him.
