Elaine Carolyn Howard, 91, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at The Bridge of Central Mass in West Brookfield.

Born in South Glens Falls on August 6, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Sara (Gregory) Howard.

She attended the Little School House at Powers Corner. Elaine was diagnosed in 2006 with Williams Syndrome and was the oldest person with this syndrome known to the Williams Syndrome Association.

Besides her parents, Elaine is predeceased by her siblings, Charles Howard, Floyd Howard, Shirley Knapp, Duane Howard, and Doris Parker.

Left to cherish her memories is her daughter, Marty Benack, grandsons, Jeffery Dunn, Dave Dunn, granddaughter, Mary Anne Hopkins, great grandson, Dirk Dunn, a sister Verna Murphy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was conducted on August 20, 2014.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Argyle, NY.
